A tennis court demands more of a site than is often assumed: consistent drainage, a contoured playing surface, and sufficient enclosure that the court does not read simply as an open rectangle within the landscape. Fieldstone walls and plantings accomplish this here, framing the court and integrating it with the surrounding farm.

The result functions first as a serious playing surface, and reads, at all other times, as a garden.
